Welcome to SunAir Systems SunAir Systems is a small solar PV and wind installation business located in Northern Illinois with a passion to help others in the design, purchase, and installation of these great renewable energy projects for your home or small business. Our company is unique to other installers in the area because we encourage the homeowners / businesses to participate in the installation of their own equipment if they wish to. First, this lowers the installation costs to them (Otherwise, I would hire work assistants – may as well be you if you’d like to participate). Second, the owners will learn more about how their system works, and increase their enjoyment in ownership. Its our experience that about a fourth of our customers like to help with common tasks, such as tightening bolts, dig foundation holes, connect solar panels together, and other things that they are comfortable in doing. And, if you are already experienced in construction / electrical work, I am willing to operate as your consultant with design and equipment recommendations. We can then order your parts from our wholesale distributors and help insure your installation will meet code specifications. Of course, we always offer fully-installed, completed systems if you prefer that we do the all of the installation work. Any method of installation you choose will result in a fun, affordable and satisfying solar and/or wind system. With today’s environment of higher electric utility costs and the prospect of rising energy prices, we focus on making your system an affordable and cost effective alternative. In fact, we keep updated on the latest information with available incentives in Illinois – and aid you in the application process. Whatever your reason for investing in renewable energy systems (either environmental, technology interest, or for economic reasons) we can assure you that it will be worth it.
